From New Zealand: resisting the evangelists

Journalist Alison McCulloch from the Bay of Plenty Times newspaper in New Zealand does a good job raising awareness about the insidious spread of evangelism in New Zealand schools ... see here.

Her hard hitting article, which criticises secularists for their complacency as much as religionists for their evangelistic fervour, finishes with the following great quote:

"I thought we already had secular individuals who taught values as per the national curriculum. They are called teachers."

All the more reason.
