Reclaiming a Secular Australia!

Announcing the Australian tour of Sean Faircloth, Director of Strategy and Policy at the Richard Dawkins Foundation.

The RSA is proud to announce that Sean Faircloth, author of "Attack of the Theocrats: How the Religious Rights is harming us all, and what we can do about it!" will be coming to Australia in March 2013. He will be appearing in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and also in New Zealand.

In Perth, the WA Humanists will be hosting Sean, and in New Zealand he will be the guest of the New Zealand Association of Rationalists and Humanists.

The RSA is delighted to work with sibling organisations in arranging this important and timely tour. Other free-thought groups supporting the tour include  the Council of Australian Humanist Societies, the Progressive Atheists, the Victorian Skeptics, the Humanist Society of Victoria and the University of Melbourne Secular Society.

Sean's tour will focus on why and how Australian freethinkers should be pushing back actively against religious fundamentalists' inroads into government, and defending our proud secular heritage.

The tour will also help launch the Rationalist Society's 10 Point Plan to Reclaim a Secular Australia, developed by a coalition of freethought groups: see here.
