The aim of the Australian Rationalist journal is to provide a forum for rational, informed, critical discussions of current issues which will appeal to and be of interest to what Virginia Woolf called ‘the common reader’ – the intelligent layperson who wants to understand the underlying forces which generate current events, to see beneath and beyond the mystifications of ‘spin doctors’ of all kinds, and to come to grips with the significant and influential ideas of our time.
The Australian Rationalist is published by the Rationalist Association of Australia for the Rationalist Society of Australia. It is a quarterly journal with a print run of approximately 2,500, focusing primarily on issues relating to philosophy, science, religion and politics.
Hard copies can be purchased in select newsagencies, singularly by mail, or by subscription; available back orders can also be purchased via the mail. For more information, click here.
